Belly Casting is a 3D plaster replica of a woman’s belly that serves as a keepsake of her pregnancy. It has its roots in ancient times where various cultures similar techniques to create casts of the body for ceremonial and artistic purposes. However, many celebrities such as Demi Moore and Gisele Bündchen have popularized this movement over time. Many pregnant people use it as a unique way to celebrate their baby bump and to remember their body in this unique time of life.

The process of belly casting can be deeply relaxing and therapeutic, providing time to connect with the baby and celebrate the body. Most of our clients choose to have us connect a wire or hemp string on the top of the belly cast so it is able to hang on a wall. We offer personalized artwork on the casts, however if you are a creative and would like to paint your own cast, or save it for your baby to decorate when they are older; that is always an option as well.

Belly casting is normally done in a persons home, and takes about 45 minutes to an hour for the cast to be applied. It is safe and pain free experience that will serve as a memento of this special time in your life.
